So it turns out editing takes longer than I thought, but I'm pretty much done at this point. Finn hasn't really been doing much of anything lately, so I've been forced to do asses upon loads of editing myself. Finn is a terrible person to work with. Finn doesn't seem to give a shit about the movie anymore. What a prick. You've put all that work into this already, you dipshit, why just go off and do your stupid other shit now? Fuck.
Well, in other news I've also begun work on what will be my second production. It's called Picnic in a Graveyard. I'm currently working on the soundtrack for it. This next production will have greater emphasis on the music. I'm trying to branch out a little bit from only doing films. I mean, why not explore all of my talents?
Speaking of soundtracks, that's one of the few things I still have to do for SitD. It's tough to decide what music that already exists was made with the same mindset behind it as your film. Nothing seems to go perfectly enough with SitD. This is another reason as to why my next film will consist entirely of original music.
So tomorrow was the intended premiere, but, well, Finn fucked it up, I can't work at the pace of two men, give me a break.
Hold the line.
Glove isn't always on time.
As usual, PLEASE consider donating to our cause over here at Itchiban Film. Whether or not films like Surgery in the Dark or Picnic in a Graveyard are ever seen depends on you. THANK YOU

Post-Production Update
Hello, all!
It's been a while since we've had an update. We've been very busy over here at Itchiban Film HQ. The film is in the mid-to-late stages of the editing process. It's nice to see all the pieces fall into place, and a final, polished, feel fall over this epic wonder of a project. Can't chit-chat too much, however. I should get back to the proverbial 'cutting room' and keep on trucking.
We're still on track for our late June release date. This time next week, you should all be enjoying the wonderful world of Surgery in the Dark. The Glove and I can't wait to share it with all of you out there.
Goodbye, all!
EDIT: We still really need your help. PLEASE, donate as much as you feel is necessary. We really appreciate your contributions!!!

Itchiban Film needs your help!!!
Well Finn and I are truckin right along with this editing, but there's still a lot of footage to sift through. Perhaps we shouldn't have kept the camera on for so much of the duration of shooting. Ah well, we'll be able to sift through all the excess footage soon enough.
In the meantime, there is another point I would like to bring up. I mentioned this in my last post in a non-fully serious manner, but I'm afraid we've caused Itchiban Film a little trouble in spending so much money. At this rate, we might have to put an early stop to everything and possibly never be able to get Surgery in the Dark in circulation. I humbly plead for your donations to our little production company in hopes that we will be able to finish Surgery in the Dark. Every little bit is supremely appreciated. Steve and I also hope to continue making films after this. I beg all of you who love real independent filmmaking to open your pocket books for Itchiban Film. The future of underground film is in your hands. Please click the DONATE button below this post. Don't let THEM prevent you from seeing films that THEY don't WANT you to SEE!!!
I'd do anything for glove

Surgery deadline pushed back a bit. My apologies.
We still have quite a lot to edit over here. It takes a long time to edit over 5 months worth of shooting, you know. I'll admit that Finn and I haven't been working very hard this past week (we've been kind of "preoccupied" so to speak), but I promise we'll pull our shit together as of this blog post. Unfortunately, it has been brought to my attention that my initial projected date for the movie's completion is in two days. So I'm pushing back that date a little bit. Hopefully there will be no further delay, but yeah...it's been a crazy week. I'm actually having a little trouble concentrating right now, I've got a little bit of a headache...
Uhhm...we also seem to have gone a bit over budget somewhere along the road...I'm not sure when or how, but Steve is a little upset...Soooo....the proverbial lines are now open for those wishing to make a pledge to the proverbial Surgery in the Dark Foundation....
But don't worry too much, The Glove is still going to get this picture on screens before July. I won't let you down, you can count on The Glove. I haven't let you guys down yet, I'm not about to start.
Ugh, my head....
Too fast...Too fast for glove

What a weekend...
I picked just the right time to come back. The boys and I had a great weekend--Hodsdon included. He's not all that bad of a guy when you get to know him. We laughed off our differences and we're the best of chums now.
But in more movie-relevant news...
I finished the trailer! And I'm presenting it to you, right here, on the blog.
Your comments are appreciated.

WE DID IT ! ! !
That's a done!!! Shooting is officially over!!! We got it all, the sunset, the dialogue, the EVERYTHING. My first film is ready to be edited and sold. Fuck yeah. Time to celebrate with the boys. Thanks to all of those who have supported us through it all, especially my boy Danger. THEY would have kept you from SEEing this movie if it weren't for all of you guys.
But to be honest, that's not even the best part. Something magical happened on set today. So there Eric, Hodsdon, and I were, about to reshoot a key scene, when out of nowhere, my Finn came from the woods. Finn came back to me. And you know what...I'm ashamed of myself for ever thinking I could replace him. Hodsdon can't act... And I'll be damned if I ever forget how deep your talent goes again, Finn. Hodsdon doesn't even hold a candle.
So there we were, reunited at last. Eric, Finn, and I (fuck you Hodsdon) went off to film a beautiful sunset. Then we just sat down and watched it together 'til it got dark. Then Joe even stopped by, I guess he's done with one of his stupid bullshit projects. Time to party it up. No hard feelings.

Just one day left!
Everything went very well today. Alas, we still didn't shoot that damn sunset. But at this point, I'm worried about nothing. We're so close to being finished that I can almost taste it. And its almost taste is very sweet indeed. Nobody thought I could do it, but look at me now motherfuckers. Look at me now. I never could have done this without Steve Graham. Steve, you really got this motion picture in motion, and I can't thank you enough. Also, Hodsdon, I feel like I need to mention you too. You're really the one responsible for the movie coming together during this past week. If it hadn't been for you, I'm afraid Surgery in the Dark would have found itself in development hell for a while, possibly never to return. Joe and a certain other somebody have caused me nothing but grief and sorrow however. I hope the two of you jump off ten cliffs together.
I'm glad everybody enjoyed the trailer as well. More to come.
I'll wait 'til your glove comes down
